From Thursday, 10/31 till Sunday, 11/03/2019 9 dancers of the clogging formation “Dancing-Taps” from Leer were in Hohenbrunn near Munich for the first clogging workshop with the former tap dancers of TSV Hohenbrunn under the direction of Annette Mütze.
Friday evening started the first workshop unit of the choreography to the music “Wildfire” by Aaron Watson. All 15 participants were a bit nervous, including the trainer. But after the warm up everyone was motivated.
The first two parts of the choreography and the beginning of the chorus were well prepared after 1.5 hours. The heads were smoking.
On Saturday morning we went on. Everything was repeated and refined. Everyone clogged through the intro, parts 1 – 4 and the chorus “Moin” in a good mood.
In the small breaks we even practiced in small groups!
After the lunch break with pretzels, Obadzda, tea and coffee – under blue skies and sunshine – the presentation of the almost finished choreo and the dances from Leer and Hohenbrunn followed.
The audience was enthusiastic and clapped along diligently.
The cloggers from the north presented spontaneously 2 small dances to the participants from Hohenbrunn. A great demonstration.
One thing is certain for everyone: The clogging bridge from north to south has been built and next year we want to meet again for clogging in Leer!
