On Friday, 09/18/2020 at 5 pm the 2nd North-South Clogging Workshop started in the “Old Brunsel” in Burlage under the direction of Annette Mütze.
Three cloggers had arrived from Höhenkirchen near Munich and waited with another ten cloggers from Leer and surroundings for the first steps.

To the music “Kentucky Girl” by David Lee Murphy, over 5 hours of diligent and highly motivated clogging was done. Even if sometimes the feet didn’t quite want to go on, the atmosphere was absolutely great.

Already on Friday evening the chorus and the first part of the choreography were ready. On Saturday we continued punctually at 11 am in bright sunshine. Everybody was there again.

During the lunch break we had very tasty pumpkin soup from “Feine Kost Wölke” from Rhauderfehn. A little later the cloggers strengthened themselves with coffee and cake.

In the last part of the workshops on Saturday afternoon there was a small presentation of the finished choreography by the workshop participants together with the teacher Annette Mütze. Finally Annett and Sabine, a student from Munich, clogged the rehearsed choreography “Countryfied”.

A great performance of the participants and the trainer.

In the evening, everyone met for a dinner together. It was unanimously decided that the 3rd North-South Workshop should take place next year 2021 in Munich.

Many thanks to all dancers.
